Bournemouth Graduates Make a Splash in the Film World
Bournemouth University graduates are making their names known in the film industry this month, as they premier their new film, "Getting Over Fred".

Spongecake Productions was formed by several friends, whilst at university, and their forth film, has been made in order to raise money for the Wessex Heartbeat Trust of which Fred Dinenage, the Fred in the title, is a patron.

The film is about a commitment-phobe who, whenever he gets too close to a woman, asks what they think of his hero Fred Dinenage. Knowing that he'll never receive a good enough answer he can safely walk away without any guilt - until, that is, he meets the woman of his dreams.

About to propose, having never mentioned his "How To" hero, Fred Dinenage himself walks into the restaurant. Will he ask the question or will his future wife scupper the plans?

Getting over Fred will be shown at The Bournemouth Odeon as well as several small cinemas across the south coast and also Nerve FM - the TV station of Bournemouth University.
